GARO [Completed Series - 2005-2006]

Saejima Kouga adalah seorang Makai Knight wilayah timur yang berjuluk Garo yang bertugas melindungi manusia dari Horor. Dalam salah satu tugasnya membasmi Horor tanpa sengaja dia bertemu dengan Kaoru Mitsuki, yang dalam pertarungan itu tanpa sengaja tersiram darah Horor. Peraturan Makai Knight sebenarnya membunuh orang yang tersiram darah Horor. Tapi sesuatu dalam diri Kouga membuatnya tidak membunuh Kaoru. Awalnya Kaoru digunakannya sebagai umpan untuk menarik Horor, tapi lama kelamaan Kouga yang tidak rela Kaoru mati justru mencari cara untuk memurnikan Kaoru dari darah Horor jika tidak ingin Kaoru mati dengan mengenaskan 100 hari sejak Kaoru tersiram darah Horor. Masalah makin rumit dengan kemunculan Makai Knight wilayah barat, Rei Suzumura alias Zero yang menganggap Garo yang membunuh kekasihnya.

Saw 2 [BRRip - 2005]

Michael, seorang informan polisi terbangun dengan topeng kematian terpasang di kepalanya. Dalam waktu 1 menit, dia harus lolos dari topeng itu jika tidak ingin mati. Maslahnya kunci topeng tersebut ditanam dibelakang matanya. Maka, Michael pun gagal membebaskan diri.

Detektif Eric Matthews pun dipanggil ke TKP karena pesan di dinding menunjuk dirinya untuk datang. Petunjuk mengarahkan Detektif Matthews, Detektif Kerry dan tim SWAT ke sebuah pabrik terbengkalai. Saat mereka berhasil masuk, merekapun menemukan John Kramer yang dalam kondisi lemah akibat penyakit kankernya. Tapi kanker tidak melemahkan tekat John Kramer untuk mengajarkan nilai kehidupan dengan caranya. Di monitor di pabrik itu mereka menemukan serombongan orang tengah dikurung oleh Sang Jigsaw. Dua diataranya adalah Daniel, anak Detektif Matthews dan Amanda, yang pernah lolos dari jebakan Jigsaw. Sisanya adalah orang-orang yang pernah ditangkap atau berurusan dengan Detektif Matthews.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children [BRRip 1080 - 2005]

Dua tahun setelah Cloud Strife mengalahkan Sephiroth, muncul penyakit baru bernama GeoStigma. Banyak yang beranggapan bahwa penyakit ini akibat penggunaan lifestream sebagai sumber energi, kecuali Rufus Shinra, yang mana perusahaannya, Shinra Corporation telah lama bergelut dengan mako energi. Dia berkeyakinan bahwa GeoStigma berkaitan dengan kebangkitan Sephiroth. Ini dikuatkan dengan kemunculan 3 bersaudara Kadaj, Loz dan Yazoo yang mengincar kepala Jenova. Maka Rufus meminta bantuan Cloud untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini.

Cloud awalnya tidak tertarik, sampai komplotan itu melukai Tifa Lockheart dan menculik Denzel, anak yatim yang diasuhnya yang mengidap GeoStigma sebagaimana dirinya.

Bloodlines of the Illuminati - Fritz Springmeier [Txt - 2005]

The book touches on a few elements of truth - such as the fact that the U.S. government really did embark on an unethical and insane research projects called MK-ULTRA and Project Monarch. Most of the evidence of that project was destroyed by Richard Helms, however there is enough hard evidence that exists which proves at least some of the claimed activities took place.

Unfortunately, just like the Remote Viewing government project, most surreal research that takes place by the U.S. government generates an entire army of "believers" who latch on to those paranormal topics. These people have a conviction of the reality of the phenomenon or event, bolstered by the fact that the U.S. government was - at least at one point - interested in it.

Springmeier launches his claims upon the MK-ULTRA activities, at least in part. Most of the book is a history lesson with both historic fact and baseless speculation interwoven into a new and surreal altered reality, where you are no longer sure what is "real" history and what has simply been filled in by Springmeier.

Educating the Engineer of 2020: Adapting Engineering Education to the New Century [PDF - 2005]

The Engineer of 2020 Project centers on an effort to envision the future two decades from now, to use this knowledge in an attempt to predict the roles engineers will play in the future, and to position engineering education in the United States for what lies ahead, rather than waiting for time to pass and then trying to respond. It is driven by concern that engineering students of today may not be appropriately educated to meet the demands that will be placed on the engineer of 2020 and that, without refocusing and reshaping the undergraduate engineering learning experience, America’s engineering preeminence could be lost. It takes as a given that the nation’s societal goals will not be met absent a robust engineering community in the country. It asks what restructuring of program, reallocation of resources, and refocusing of faculty and professional society time and energy are required so that our educational infrastructure can educate engineers prepared to tackle the challenges of the future. It questions how we can more effectively share with students—current and potential—our passion for designing systems, structures, and devices to solve problems and our conviction that engineering is a profession that offers rich rewards for serving the interests of society.
